Serbian Days 2026 Bringing Serbian Tradition, Music & Sports

Serbian Days 2026 will take place on June 6th and 7th in Rockford, Illinois, bringing together the Serbian community and visitors for a weekend full of culture, entertainment, sports, and traditional cuisine. Hosted at the Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church in Rockford, the festival will feature live music performances, folklore groups, children’s activities, sports tournaments, and authentic Serbian specialties. Visitors can enjoy traditional dishes including grilled meats, sarma, pita, desserts, and spit-roasted specialties while experiencing performances from folklore groups and guest cultural societies. The event schedule also includes: • 3x3 Serbian Basketball Tournament on Saturday • Youth Football Tournament on Sunday • Live entertainment throughout the weekend • Family-friendly activities and community gathering The folklore performances begin Saturday, June 6th at 3 PM with performances by the folklore group “Svileni Konac” and visiting folklore societies.
